Formation Beyond The Bell

Student life extends far beyond the classroom. Whether they're performing on stage, building a business plan, mastering their next chess move, or leading a service initiative, there’s a place for students to grow their talents and passions.

Where Talents Grow and Leaders Rise

Whether you're playing jazz on Beale Street, launching a startup in FBLA, mentoring peers through NHS, or exploring your heritage in CASA—there's a place for you here. Subiaco's clubs and activities help young men grow in leadership, confidence, and community.

Subiaco Jazz Ensemble

Founded by Deacon Roy Goetz in 2002, the Jazz Ensemble performs styles ranging from swing and blues to Latin and fusion. Touring 40+ venues annually and with a reputation for excellence and invitation-only performances in cities like St. Louis and Memphis, the ensemble emphasizes the art of connecting with live audiences.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

As part of the largest student business organization in the world, Subiaco's FBLA chapter gives students hands-on experience in leadership and entrepreneurship. Members manage The Trojan Shop, compete at state and national levels, and learn the foundations of business through events and student-run initiatives.

Blue Arrow Student Ambassadors

Selected by school leadership, Blue Arrows serve as the welcoming face of Subiaco. They guide campus tours, speak on student panels, and share their authentic experiences with prospective families, helping future Trojans feel right at home.

Our Blue Arrows this year are: Samuel Wu, Aaron Pineda, Alex Stengel, Trevor Wasielewski, Lee Miller, Nathan Aquilar, Nicolas Schmitz, and Triston Carlile.

Chess Club

Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just learning the game, Chess Club provides a place to sharpen your skills, develop strategic thinking, and participate in friendly tournaments throughout the year.

Student Council

Grounded in Benedictine values, Student Council gives students a voice in school life through leadership, service, and school spirit. A unique feature of our council is the Spiritual Life Student Coordinator, who plans faith-based events and fosters community devotion alongside traditional leadership roles.

e-Sports

Through the PlayVS platform, students build teams, track stats, and compete statewide in structured, coach-supported leagues. Esports develops teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, all while doing what students love.

Quiz Bowl

Open to grades 7–12, Quiz Bowl is an academic competition team that tests knowledge across subjects from science to pop culture. Students compete locally and statewide, growing in confidence, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.

Cultural Awareness Student Association (CASA)

Led by the Language Department, CASA celebrates the cultural richness of Subiaco’s global student body through events highlighting food, music, art, and traditions. Students educate and inspire the community by sharing their heritage.

Future Farmers of America

Subiaco is proud to be the first private school in Arkansas to offer FFA. Students explore agriculture, biology, animal science, and entrepreneurship through hands-on work with animals, facility management, and lab-based inquiry. All students can participate, no livestock ownership required.
