Agricultural Science is not just about growing crops or raising animals, it is about cultivating responsibility, problem-solving, and reverence for God’s creation.  In the spirit of ora et labora (prayer and work), our program invites students to explore how science, sustainability, and service come together to shape both the land and the young men who work it.

First Private School in Arkansas To Offer Future Farmers of America

Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, Subiaco Academy will make history as the first private school in Arkansas to offer a Future Farmers of American (FFA) chapter, marking a bold step forward in our commitment to agricultural leadership, community partnership, and real-world education.

Formation Begins With The Land

Learning to care for the earth is a reflection of learning to care for others. With over 1,600 acres of land and deep rural roots, Subiaco's unique program foster environmental stewardship while empowering students with in-demand skills to pursue higher education or career pathways after graduation.

Practical experiences with animal care that build responsibility, empathy, and agricultural understanding.

Soil, Plant & Crop Studies

Students learn soil science, planting techniques, and crop management while learning how healthy land supports sustainable life and responsible stewardship.

Forestry & Land Conservation

Applied fieldwork that fosters environmental awareness and the skills to manage and protect natural resources with purpose and care.

Beekeeping & Pollinator Education

Interactive learning that highlights the role of pollinators in agriculture, biodiversity, and ecological stewardship.

Sustainability, Solar Energy, & Water Management

Access to our campus' 2,800-module solar array and gravity-fed water systems that teach students how to design solutions for resource conservation and environmental responsibility.

Agri-Entrepreneurship

Apply business principles to agriculture, learning how food moves from field to table through innovation, planning, and ethical decision-making.
