Subiaco Academy, a Catholic, college-preparatory, all-boys boarding and day school rooted in the Benedictine tradition, seeks a dynamic and strategic Director of Admissions to oversee all aspects of recruitment, enrollment management, and student retention. This role is central to advancing the Academy’s mission by cultivating meaningful relationships with prospective families, articulating the value of a Benedictine education, and leading a comprehensive, mission-driven admissions process that reflects best practices in independent school enrollment.
Position Summary
The Director of Admissions is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive admissions strategy that attracts and enrolls young men who will thrive academically, socially, physically, and spiritually at Subiaco Academy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for Catholic education. Experience in admissions, enrollment management, marketing, or related fields is preferred. Candidates currently working toward advanced training or certification in enrollment or educational leadership are also encouraged to apply.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full admissions process, from initial inquiry through enrollment.
- Build strong relationships with prospective families, educational consultants, feeder schools, parishes, and community partners.
- Coordinate and host admissions events, including campus tours, open houses, shadow days, and outreach visits.
- Collaborate with the Head of School, Marketing & Communications, Advancement, and Academic teams to ensure consistent messaging and mission alignment.
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and participate in admissions decisions.
- Maintain accurate admissions data and utilize enrollment trends to inform strategy.
- Represent Subiaco Academy at recruitment fairs, conferences, and community events.
- Support the Academy’s commitment to fostering the intellectual, social, physical, and faith development of every student by ensuring a welcoming and mission‑driven admissions experience.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or enrollment‑related certification preferred.
- Experience in admissions, enrollment management, marketing, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and public‑speaking skills.
- Ability to differentiate communication approaches for diverse audiences and integrate varied strategies into daily work.
