Your Link To Life On The Hill

Subiaco Academy Family Engagement serves to assist parents and guardians with the transition of their students to the boarding school/college preparatory school environment.  Please reach out if you have questions, we are here to help.

Dear Parents,

I am privileged to be able to introduce myself to you as an official part of this Subiaco Academy community that has enriched the life of my family for so many years. I have recently been given the honor of becoming the Director of Family Engagement.

I grew up in the college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas and now live in the grape farming community of Altus, not far from Subiaco. I hope to add to the small town warmth of our international school, and enhance what makes our school a home away from home for so many. My husband, Joseph Post (class of ‘83), and I are the parents of seven children, five of whom are graduates and future graduates of Subiaco. By choosing to educate our sons Christopher (’14), Mathew (’16), Justin (’22), Joshua (’25), and Jude (’27) at Subiaco, we have been given the opportunity to deepen the connection to this Benedictine community that has meant so much to our family for generations. We also have two daughters, Jessica and Julianne, who have gained great benefits from their brothers, father, grandfather, cousins and uncles all attending Subiaco Academy.

My journey with the Subiaco Parent Association began in 2011, and I understand the concerns and hopes of Subiaco parents and empathize with the challenges and joys that come with the unique role as a parent of a Subiaco student. I have a heart for young people, their optimism and enthusiasm and have high hopes for the impact they will have on our future. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. As an international exchange student myself during my high school career in Australia and later in Mexico during college, I understand the profound impact of studying abroad and also the importance of making international students feel welcome.

Some of my favorite things are being with my children, laughing, drinking chai tea latte, and collecting heart-shaped rocks. I welcome any and all suggestions, encouragement, and concerns as we grow and strengthen the lines of communication between the school and the families of our students. I hope to meet and hear from each of you.

May God bless our global Subiaco community and Onward Trojans!
